How's it going /sports/. I recently started BMX and I'm wondering if theres anyone here who does it too. I've always rode a mountain bike for transport but after I watched some BMX videos I got really into it and put together a bike.

It took me about 2 months to save up enough for all the parts but it definitely paid off. I don't think I have ever been as sore in my life after my first day of riding around and doing bunny hops etc.

I've also started to up the amount of protein in my diet and I'm seeing noticable change in my arms, shoulders, and legs. I reccomend this sport to anyone whos looking to learn something new and needs to get in shape while doing it.

BMX is fun and will get you ripped.

Thoughts? Personally I'm still a little torn. I like the idea in theory, but living in this city my entire life I know if there is a way a for them to fuck things up, they will. I'm still hopeful cause I think it would be a cool experience having the games locally, since it's not something most people will have the opportunity for in their lifetimes.

I need the hard ass truth...

I am currently 16 a goalie and play Junior Hockey so I play with kids 2-3 years older then me and some that are 4. The league considers themselves to be Junior "A" but people and critics consider the teams at Junior "B" caliber at the highest. Anyways I am considered the 3rd goalie so I am not guaranteed no playing time but I get full access to practice and workouts. I really want to play NCAA and try to get a scholarship at the most to get into college but all I get contacted from is ACHA teams which are farm teams pretty much. I would also take some Tier 2 Junior teams and if I get lucky Tier 1 but I have no idea how my path is looking like. Someone close to me said this is the right path for me but I don't know at all but he said that goalies have a longer development rate and shorter career life and that is what I am afraid about. What do you guys think?
