I got the idea tonight while high and playing rock band to do some paintings on long scrolls that resemble the patterns of a song on the game. I want to paint them based on a mathematical sequence then use the pattern to compose a classical song. That way each painting would have an equation, and scroll and a song to go with it. So basically long scrolls to a degree resembling this. But I would put my own art style to them. What do you guys think? Does this idea have an merit? The canvas would be pretty expensive for such a project though.

Hey guys, figured I'd put this up because I painted it today and I like it. I could do without the bioshock arguments, I like the game, felt like painting something related. Used straight up brush and ink, criticism always welcome. Art teacher thinks I'm a psychopath, I plan to use this in my favor.

I enjoy the tattoos you plastered around the eyes and forehead. I'm sure the rough brushing was intentional, but i feel this piece would be stronger if you had cleaner lines... that right cheek irks me the most.

It's an interesting idea, but the execution seems like it was just quickly banged out. Before you show your teacher i suggest you give it another go.

Granted, more than likely you did the roughness intentionally, but thats my opinion.
