ABCs of mens fashion

Don't make everything match: "To achieve the nonchalance which is absolutely necessary for a man, one article at least must not match. For instance, you can wear a dark blue suit and tie with a pale blue shirt and navy blue socks, but you must then have a patterned silk handkerchief say in dark red or a paisley design of green and brown; or you could stick to a blue handkerchief and have dark red socks."
Beware the bow-tie wearer: "By day, often in patterned or spotted foulard, it is usually worn by individualists ... On less genial characters, it can have an aggressive air and can arouse some kind of resentment at first meeting of a new acquaintance."
Avoid sandals and shorts: "Always wear a collar and tie in a town, even if it's by the sea, after six o'clock. Never wear shorts except actually on the beach or on a walking tour. All short sleeve shirts look ghastly. Sandals are hell, except on the beach where you want to take them off: or on an erect cock. And, worn with socks are super hell."
Men can wear red: "Scarlet is perhaps the most masculine of all colours, but its very flamboyancy limits its use."
Don't overlook slippers: "Grandest of all are velvet slippers, with your monogram or crest embroidered in gold thread. These you can dine in, at home of course."
Never turn up your trousers: "You can't have any."
Spend money on a belt: "You should always try and buy, or get given, the most expensive belt possible ... It should preferably be the same colour as your shoes: and, if you are very natty, it could be in the same leather as your wrist strap."
Pay attention to socks: "The matching of socks to the tie I find affected."
Don't be scared of fur: "The modern young man is now so sure of his virility that I think he will take the risk, in the not too distant future, of wearing a coat made entirely of fur."

I remember being a kid, I was always told not to wear toe-socks to often because it would spread your toes out. Now that I'm getting through my twenties, I'm starting to notice that my toes kind of like form on one another and get crushed together a bit. An then you see like an older (50ish) man or womans feet and its like damn thats ugly. I think its probably actually benificial to wear toe-socks often. Especially if they're in cute christmas or halloween prints HNNNNNNNNNG

Also its good to use a puma stone on your feet atleast once a month. It helps take off dead skin, caluses are nice. They make it easier to walk on stones/etc. But as soon as you notice your caluses turn yellow a bit or getting dry and cracked its best to use a puma stone.

I just reshaved and booted the beard too, I just can't believe that I am balding. That's what makes the thirty comment sting, I mean if I had the same thick head of hair, I would be growing it out again *sigh*. Piss party aside, I do retain a lot of fat if I don't work out, I just want to lose the extra fifteen pounds I've put on and maybe just run/elliptical/whatever. Just get super lean. Not loose all the muscle but maybe go down from what I'm at now (187 pounds) to maybe 155 (pounds)?

You look older than you are. It's not really meant to be an insult, just a fact.

The easiest thing to improve is the beard; if you can't grow it out any longer than that (or don't want to), take some scissors or maybe get a beard trimmer, and just even it out. If it looks puny after it's lost some of its length, you might want to just leave your chin as bald as your head until you actually turn thirty or so when most guys really can start growing their beards out thicker, but until you actually figure out how skimpy your beard looks after you trim it properly, it'll be a little hard to tell.
I doubt it'll be a problem after the trim as you look like you can grow it out just fine in >>5242, but in the pics you've got here, it looks a little too scruffy for me to take seriously.

Other than that, it's still true that you look older than you are, and it's also true that usually people look better when they dress older than their age anyway. Not saying you should throw all your T shirts and shorts out right away, but >>5240 might be on to something =P
After all, is there really any reason not to be looking older and more respectable?

And finally, not sure what you mean by "trimming off some muscle," but the bald look more often than not goes with a more built figure. Your body type also looks thicker in general; I can't say very well since you don't really have any full body pics here, but people with thicker body types usually look better with a good bit of muscle on them as well.
