I've seen this around before but never been able to find the original comic, any help?

P.S. - I know the bubbles are erased really sloppily but I really didn't think doing a clean erasing job of the shopped text was important.

Should have just kept the edited text in, that picture is always funny.

OP here, I am disappointed /co/ this is the second time you have failed me in finding the source of a comic. I'm starting to think you people aren't comic experts after all.

Thank you, and through that picture I was finally able to locate the original comic DC Comics Presents: Green Lantern. Now if only I could find that X-men comic...

I recall seeing somewhere a picture of Bats as a Green Lantern. The caption was something along the lines of "Overpowered." Anyone have that?

I think the one you're asking about is an elseworlds title called In Darkest Knight

link to a download in here (thanks to ^_^)

Hmm... While that is indeed Bats as a GL, it actually wasn't the one I was looking for. The one I remember seeing was much more recently drawn, and appeared as if he'd been Batman for some time before being chosen.

The only reference I can find about a green lantern batman is here

http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=264940

and this is a link to GL v4 #09 different cover than the one in the forum though

I'm pretty sure the one you are thinking of is when the ring came to choose bats, and bats was all "fuck you, ring"

this?

what bugs me about this picture is the symbol on his chest taking on his normal crest.
why?
Is the bat imagery so ingrained in his psyche that it manifests itself when he's wearing the ring?

The ring somewhat has an intelligence on it's own, at least enough to find a new bearer when one dies and enough to know "the chosen one" from the rest of the population, so does does it go against it's programming/intelligence and morph itself into a bat instead of the pre-determined lantern?

is batman defined by a bat to the point where he is literally a bat man?
